Turn River

Turn River-Uranium-Nickel
Yukon Territory, Canada

Logan Resources partnered with International KRL Resources Corp. (TSX-V:IRK) to stake this massive land package with very prospective uranium and nickel potential in the Cassiar Plateau region of the Yukon Territory. The land package now consists of 3,151 claims, covering 65,866 hectares (162,758 acres) and includes twelve distinct project areas. The property is located approximately 95 km northeast of Whitehorse and may be serviced from the Canol Road. Each company retains a 50% interest in the property.

The highest known uranium silt geochemical values in the Yukon are found in this region of the Yukon. The uranium silt geochemical values from the property are consistently high, with significant values of up to 291 ppm, which is 21 times higher than the 95th percentile (13.6 ppm) for uranium silt geochemical samples in the Yukon and 8 times higher than the 95th percentile (34.7 ppm) in the Cassiar Plateau. Eleven of the twelve claim blocks are prospective for uranium.

The Companies added a large claim block to the project during summer 2007. The newly staked ground is the largest of the twelve claim blocks and covers a package of ultramafic intrusives and volcanics. Samples collected by the GSC in a 2003 regional stream geochemical survey, returned values up to 545 ppm nickel from the newly staked claims.  The elevated nickel values as well as the coincident ultramafic intrusive package make this a prime target area for nickel exploration.
